Vertex Series III models is the pinnacle of ELAC’s new family of high-performance architectural speakers. The IC-VJT63-W uses premium components borrowed from ELAC’s audiophile VELA speakers, as well as an angled baffle for optimum performance in home theater applications. The included grilles sit flush with your ceiling, helping the speakers to visually disappear and let their sound do the talking.

High-tech drivers for maximum performance

The ‘VJT63-W is jam-packed with audiophile components, including a proprietary a JET tweeter (ELAC’s take on Air Motion Transformer tweeters) that squeezes air between folds of a film rather than having a cone surface that vibrates. The end result is lightning-fast high-frequency response and wide dynamic range. The tweeter also uses a unique deep spheroid waveguide that enhances and widens its dispersion pattern while aiding efficiency.

ELAC gave this speaker a woofer that can keep up with a fast tweeter. The custom-designed 6″ crystal membrane aluminum woofer can move quicky without losing detail. It handles midrange and bass frequencies and doesn’t miss a beat with detail. Both drivers are connected to a sophisticated custom crossover network that ensures smooth transition between the two.
