ELAC has a reputation for great sound, and now they’re bringing it to whole-home audio. The IS-AMP1650-BK is a flexible solution that allows homeowners and custom audio integrators alike to power a large home audio system. This amp gives you ultra-flexible control over a multi-zone audio system using its web-based graphic user interface (GUI).

This 16-channel amp can power stereo speaker pairs in up to eight different listening zones. Or you can bridge channel pairs to create a single, more powerful channel to drive more demanding speakers or a passive subwoofer.

Flexible connections and web-based control

The amp has eight stereo pairs of analog RCA inputs assignable to one or more zones. Four pairs of RCA outputs let you feed connected sources to more amplifiers, receivers, or powered subwoofers. And eight sets of detachable Phoenix-style outputs let you connect your speakers using up to 12-gauge wire.

Naming and assigning zones, directing output to other amps, and equalization are all handled by the GUI. If you have ELAC speakers, you can select model-specific EQ presets to optimize the sound. Or use the parametric equalizer to tweak the sound of each zone. You can even set high-pass and low-pass filters, great for zones with subwoofers.

Integrator Series 16 Channel Multi-Zone Amplifier

Each ELAC Multi-channel amplifier uses a modular design and efficient Class D amplifiers. The 8 Channel Amplifier delivers up to 100 Watts per channel, while the 12 Channel delivers up to 75 Watts and the 16 Channel delivers up to 75 watts.

Configurable Audio Outputs

All of our multi-channel amplifiers feature assignable outputs (8-Channel 4 Outs), (12/16- Channel 8 Outs) allowing for extremely flexible projects. Power a room off in-ceiling speakers with the built-in amplifiers and assign one of the outputs to a powered subwoofer in the same room. You can even apply high- pass filters to the in-ceiling/in-wall speakers

Advanced DSP

Our advanced DSP allows for great flexibility when setting up each zone. A full Parametric Equalizer can be used for each output or simply use one of our presets for ELAC speakers to simplify the setup.

WEB GUI

Our WEB GUI allows for easy setup and tuning of the amplifier. A status screen shows the current state of each channel along with both input and output levels for each channel. Settings can be saved for easy replication of projects.
