Ultra-wide frequency tweeter & wide-dispersion waveguide

The Elac Debut 2.0 OWB4.2 incorporates a 1″ cloth dome tweeter. The innovative and revised silk-dome tweeter sports a wide-roll surround that reproduces up to 35,000 Hz for a crisp and clear high-frequency response. The updated waveguide improves directivity control and reduces the diffraction to deliver an ultra-wide frequency response.

Improved woven Aramid fiber woofer

The Elac Debut 2.0 OWB4.2 sports a custom-engineered 4″ mid-bass driver. The improved shape of the aramid cone offers even higher stiffness and damping, far superior to polypropylene or paper. The added strength allows more flexibility in design to achieve a smoother, fast, and increased low-frequency response.

Robust cabinet for longevity and easy placement

The OWB4.2 is housed in a thick MDF cabinet with a luxurious black ash vinyl finish. Additionally, it features larger internal braces for greater stiffness and strength. The result is greatly reduced cabinet vibrations which cause unwanted colouration and distortion to the speaker’s tone. The bass ports of the OW4.2 are located at the bottom of the cabinet allowing placement against walls or in bookshelves without any trade-off in sonic clarity.
